THOM + HANNAH | PALM BEACH ELOPEMENT

For almost a week now, hardly a single ray of sunshine has shown through the dark, stormy clouds here in West Palm Beach. The weather predicted a 90-100% chance of rain at the time of our shoot, and yet, not a single drop of rain fell on us! It was truly a blessing from the Lord on Thom + Hannah's wedding day! 

Thom + Hannah pictured their wedding photos to be tropical and beachy. Good thing we're in the best place for such a shoot! However, as the day approached, Hannah and I realized that we needed to come up with a plan B in the very likely case of rain. So we settled on a local beach park with some cabanas where we could seek shelter if the rain came. I honestly didn't think we would get many shots in before we had to run for cover, but I said a quick prayer and was optimistic! 

What a couple Thom + Hannah are! Easy going, up for anything, and all about each other! I was seriously inspired by these two...they decided that before their actual ceremony in front of so many people, they wanted to spend time alone and say their vows to each other in private. How sweet?! They also wanted to do a first look and have their first dance during our time together. All of this created such a tender moment before the chaos that comes with a wedding! 

As we were shooting, we were commenting on how crazy it was that the rain held off for us! Thom shared that it was kind of "them" anyway - he said that the day he proposed to Hannah, it was storming all day, only ceasing for about 2 minutes, which he took advantage of to ask Hannah to marry him. AGH I JUST LOVE IT! What could have been pretty disastrous for most couples on their wedding day turned out to be pretty poetic for Thom + Hannah! 

Thom + Hannah, it was such a pleasure and honor to spend time with you two before your wedding! Thank you for trusting me, despite the seemingly adverse weather! It couldn't have been a more perfect time! Cheers to the beginning of a great adventure!
