Last night’s surf sesh was quite a pleasant surprise. Edward and I were just deciding what we wanted to do after he got off work, and Noah mentioned some there were some nuggy little waves. We loaded the car and headed straight over. I hadn’t taken my camera out in the water in a while, and it was so nice to do that just for me…to be creative in my favorite place ever. After a while, I dropped my camera off on the sand and took a wave of my own and just enjoyed the water.
While I was shooting in the water with these guys, I felt so thankful for their friendships and these memories we get to make with them. It was such a gloomy, overcast evening, but turned out to be one of the most beautiful nights! Of course, after I got out of the water and put my camera back in my car, we got quite an amazing art show in the sky! I was wrapped in my towel watching the guys surf until it got dark, and I turned around to see golden beams of light hitting the buildings behind me as the sun shined for the last few minutes of the day. When I turned back around, the two ends of a rainbow appeared amidst the dark clouds. A patch of orange/pink crept across the sky in between the ends of the rainbow.
What a treat that was. Thank you, Father, that we can enjoy such incredible nights like the one You gave us yesterday!
